Frontier photographer Frank S. Matsura (left, center back with
Okanogan Military Band) was a native of Japan who arrived
in Conconully in 1903 and moved his photography studio
to Okanogan in 1907. He photographed the people and places
of Okanogan County until his death in 1913.
