Your guide to fishing in and around Okanogan County

Douglas County
Grimes Lake: This 124-acre lake located five miles southeast of Mansfield is managed by Jateff with Okanogan County waters for Lahontan cutthroat that reach up to 20 inches.
The lake, which has a June 1-through-Aug. 31 season, has a one-fish daily limit and selective gear rules.
Access is off Wittig Road just south of Mansfield.
Jameson Lake: This popular lake eight miles south of Mansfield is open from the last Saturday in April (April 25) through July 4, then reopens again Oct. 1-31.
Fishing should be good for yearling rainbows 10-11 inches, with carryovers to 15 inches.
The lake will receive additional triploid rainbows of 1-2 pounds each and catchable rainbow 9-10 inches if water quality remains good prior to the opener.
To reach the resort at the north end of the lake, follow Mansfield Road and Wittig Road south of Mansfield.
To reach the resort and state access site on the south end, go north on Jameson Lake Road from U.S. Highway 2 about 20 miles east of Coulee City.
Campsites, toilets and a boat launch are available at both the north and south ends of the lake.
