PENTICTON, B.C. – A magnitude 3.0 earthquake occurred at 11:09 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 16 miles south of town and 23 miles north-northwest of Oroville.

The state Senate Energy, Natural Resources and Marine Waters Committee on Jan. 9 voted unanimously to refer a bill to the Ways and Means Committee that would make the Discover Pass transferable between two vehicles.
