Genealogy
Okanogan County Genealogical Society. Promotes interest in preserving family history, offers continuing education and assistance in research procedures, provides a growing genealogical library at the Wilson Research Center (next to the Okanogan County Historical Museum, Okanogan) and publishes Okanogan County cemetery and vital statistic records. Bruce and Merilynn Wilson Research Center. Houses reference materials of the Okanogan County Historical Society and Okanogan County Genealogical Society. Information: 422-4272.

Okanogan County Historical Society. Promotes Okanogan County history. Publishes quarterly magazine, The Heritage; conducts pioneer interviews; operates museums in Okanogan, Molson (Old Molson, Molson School), Conconully and Winthrop (Shafer); maintains research facilities, photographic files and historical signs. Board meets quarterly. Coordinates with Okanogan County Genealogical Society to operate Wilson Research Center. Okanogan Fire Hall Museum. Replica of historic Okanogan Fire Hall. Located in Okanogan's Legion Park, adjacent to Okanogan County Historical Museum and Wilson Research Center. Information: 422-4272.
Okanogan Historical Museum. Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during summer months. Self-guided museum detailing the county's history, includes old-fashioned "Main Street" display, apple history, farm implements and settler's cabin. Information: 422-4272.

Old Oroville Depot Historical Society. Promotes North County history
with records, photos and artifacts for Oroville, Molson, Chesaw and Tonasket. Two museums are maintained, the Old Oroville Depot and the Old Customs House.

Omak Rodeo and Native American Center. Works to develop and build a museum and community center to house Omak Stampede and native American historical information, and serve as community meeting place.
