Collectors and enthusiasts turned out for the 20th annual Friendly OK Car Show on Saturday, May 11, at East Side Park in Omak

Theresa and John Shearer, of Wenatchee, restored their military-spec 1943 Dodge in just nine months. The vehicle was restored as a tribute to World War II veterans, John Shearer said.

Long distance trophy: Bob Carr of Whittier, Calif., 2009 Mustang Coupe. Drove 1,145 miles to attend the show.

Overall people’s choice trophy: Mike Wilson of Okanogan, 1971 Chevrolet Corvette

Club with best participation trophy: AARC of Sedro Woolley-Bellingham, which had seven cars entered.
