PORT ANGELES The Omak FFA trapshoot No. 1 team topped Sequim, 127-122, for first place Sept. 28.
The weather for the match was “only good for ducks,” coach Gale Wilson said, who said Omak weathered the rain and cold to take first, third and sixth at the eight-team meet.
Omak No. 2 was third at 109 and Omak, No. 3 sixth at 84 at the meet that drew 30 shooters.
Omak’s Ethan Pfitzer finished second following a three-way shootout.
Wyatt Wilson was fourth in high boys individual shoot (43/50).
Cooper Routien placed second in girls high individual (12/50).
Ethan Pfitzer was first and Jeremy Calentine third in Annie Oakley competition.
Cameron Daigneau won the Miss-n-Out games. Cody Smith was second. Rayce Miller with Sequim’s Jared Kneidl won the Buddy Shoot.
Clayton Hilton and Sequim’s Austin Wagner finished second. Calentine and Smith were third.
Omak No. 1 includes Calentine, Pfitzer, Miller, Hilton and Daigneau.
Omak No. 2 includes Dawson Sachse, Cory Predoehl and Wilson.
Omak No. 3 includes Smith, Routien and Tom McNulty.
