ODESSA The Omak Future Farmers of America No. 1 team put up the Top 3 scores and took first place against Odessa on Oct. 5.
Omak hit 140 out of 150 birds, coach Gale Wilson said.
Team members included Cameron Daigneau (48/50), Ethan Pfitzer (46/50), Jeremy Calentine (46/50) and Clayton Hilton (37/50).
Freeman (133/150) and Odessa (130/150) were next out of 13 teams (70 shooters).
Omak No. 2 finished eighth overall with Dawson Sachse (36/50), Tommy McNulty (37/50), Wyatt Wilson (38/50) and Cooper Routien (24/50).
Daigneau was second overall as high boy individual at 48/50. The winning score was a perfect 50/50.
Pfitzer and Calentine tied for fourth.
Routien was sixth overall in the girls division with a 24/50.
In the games, Wilson was first and Sachse second in the chipper shoot.
Hilton was third in Annie Oakley.
Don Calentine was third in the adviser/adult competition.
The team’s next shoot is on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Tonasket FFA Trapshoot.
