Career/educational background: 2000 Eastmont High School graduate; 2000 certified nursing assistant working in long-term care and assisted living and memory care; 2006 became emergency medical technician

Began working at LifeLine Ambulance Inc. and at Mid-Valley Hospital’s emergency room; 2011 promoted to LifeLine’s general manager’s administrative assistant.

• What do you see as the city’s role in upgrading access to the river?

The city’s role would be working with Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Office of Recreation and Conservation (RCO) on the ALEA grant and the boating improvements grant through the RCO to build bathroom facility and concrete boat launch for better access to the river.

• What is one of the most important issues the city needs to address and what specific steps would you take to address that issue?

Water system upgrade, sewer system and community center — all currently in the Capital Improvement Plan, working with our engineers, city staff and City Council team to continue moving forward until final completion of projects.

• What are the town’s most pressing infrastructure needs? What would you do to address them?
