Colville Indian Housing Authority (CIHA)
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) to perform work at two homes on the Colville Indian Reservation in Omak and Inchelium.
1. One (1) Single Family Home #104, located at the Moccasin Flats Homes subdivision site, approximately 5 miles North of Omak, WA.
2. One (1) Single Family Home #214, located on Short cut Road, Inchelium, WA. 3. Furnish Labor and Materials to:
a. Complete wallboard repair, painting, flooring installation, doors, and trim in two units #104 and #214.
b. Furnish and install new cabinets, pantry, countertops, sinks, faucets, and associated plumbing in two units #104 and #214.
c. Remove and install new shower tub assemblies in two units: #104 and #214.
d. Remove existing vinyl siding, trim, and windows and install new windows, new window wraps, new siding, and paint siding and existing soffits and fascia at two units, #104 and #214.
e. Remove all existing roofing and furnish and install new roof sheathing and composite roofing on one unit, #104 f. Remove existing floor insulation and vapor barrier. Furnish and install new insulation and vapor barrier on two units: #104 and #214
All written proposals must be delivered to the Colville Indian Housing Authority, Capital Improvements Department, Nespelem, Washington NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM, November 13, 2013. Proposals may be faxed, e-mailed, or mailed. A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the CIHA Conference room on Wednesday November 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Please call Vince at 634-2198 by 11/05/13, 3:00 PM if planning to attend the meeting.

Indian Preference will be given in the award of contracts “to the greatest extent feasible” as determined in sec 7(b) of the Indian Self Determination and Education Act (25 U.S.C. 450e (b).
Davis Bacon Wage rates will apply to this project.
