Martinez dismissal

The court dismissed without prejudice March 24 the state’s case against Juan Aparicio Martinez, 21, of Brewster.

Martinez had been charged with first-degree child molestation.

“The state and defense have interviewed the victim in this case as well as CPS and the victim has not disclosed that the defendant has touched her inappropriately or harmed her in any way,” the dismissal document said.

Munson sentenced

Dennis William Munson, 28, of Elmer City, pleaded guilty March 26 to second-degree burglary, second-degree theft, third-degree theft and second-degree trafficking in stolen property.

The burglary and second-degree theft occurred Nov. 1-4, 2013; the third-degree theft occurred Nov. 4, 2013, and the trafficking was between Nov. 1 and Nov. 23, 2013.

Munson was sentenced to 29.75 months to be served concurrently with three other cases.

In a second case, Munson pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and first-degree trafficking in stolen property.

Munson, who committed the crimes Nov. 13, 2013, was sentenced to 36.75 months.

In a third case, Munson pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary, first-degree trafficking in stolen property and second-degree theft.

Munson, who committed the crimes Nov. 23, 2013, was sentenced to 36.75 months.

In a fourth case, Munson pleaded guilty to two counts of intimidating a witness.

Munson, who committed the crimes Feb. 2, was sentenced to 44.75 months.

Vanetta charged

Chad Vanetta, 27, of Tonasket, was charged March 19 with two counts of possession of a controlled substance-hydrocodone and methamphetamine and use of drug paraphernalia.

Vanetta allegedly committed the crimes March 14.

Possession alleged

Hok Ming Alexis Chan, 31, of Whistler, B.C., was charged March 19 with possession of more than 40 grams of marijuana, which allegedly occurred March 14.

Van Tachell charged

Jeremiah Van Tachell, 22, of Omak, was charged March 20 possession of a controlled substance-heroin and use of drug paraphernalia, which allegedly occurred March 17.

Vehicle theft alleged

Kane McKinsey Searcy, 31, of Riverside, was charged March 21 with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, which allegedly occurred March 18.

Kaye charged

Gerilyn Renne Kaye, 32, of Riverside, was charged March 21 with bail jumping, which allegedly occurred Oct. 1, 2012.

Kaye, who was being held in jail on another charge, had bail set at a March 19 preliminary hearing at $15,000.

Possession alleged

Jim Steven Smith, 42, of Yakima, was charged March 25 with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and making a false or misleading statement to a public servant.

Smith allegedly committed the crimes March 20.

Edwards charged

Timothy Keith Edwards, 40, of Omak, was charged March 24 with violation of a no contact, protection or restraining order, which allegedly occurred March 20.

Possession alleged

Margaret Ann Floresca, 42, of Yakima, was charged March 25 with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, which allegedly occurred March 20.

Harry charged

Loren M. Henry, 22, of Omak, was charged March 25 with first-degree trafficking stolen property and third-degree theft, which allegedly occurred March 22.

Delivery alleged

Fernando Espinoza-Seaman, 29, of Pateros, was charged March 26 with four counts of delivery of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.

Espinoza-Seaman allegedly committed the crimes Jan. 13, 16 and 23 and March 14.

Zamora charged

Jorge Emilio Loza Zamora, 19, of Okanogan, was charged March 26 with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and minor possessing or consuming alcohol, which allegedly occurred March 23.

Grant charged

James Edward Grant, 32, of Omak, was charged March 26 with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and use of drug paraphernalia, which allegedly occurred March 21.

Burglary, theft alleged

Darcy Kim Edwards, 41, of Omak, was charged March 26 with second-degree burglary and third-degree theft, which allegedly occurred July 8, 2013.

Russell charged

Alisha Russell, 21, of Omak, was charged March 27 with third-degree assault of a child, which allegedly occurred March 21.

Jacobs charged

Joshua Carl Jacobs, 28, of Omak, was charged March 27 with third-degree assault of a child, which allegedly occurred March 21.
