Tonasket tennis splits matches

— Okanogan split with Tonasket in Caribou Trail League tennis Tuesday.

The Tigers boys won, 4-1, while the Bulldog girls swept, 5-0.

“All my girls played well and looked very strong,” Okanogan coach Jeff Cheeseman said.

Dawson McCoy at No. 3 singles used a strong serve to fight back for the Dogs’ lone win in boys.

Tonasket’s Jesse Holan and Levi Schell came from behind for a 4-6, 6-1 and 7-5 win over Okanogan’s Noah Brooks and Nick Patterson.

Tonasket is at Omak and Pateros is at Okanogan in tennis on Tuesday.
