Request for Surplus Material Bids
Sealed bids will be received by Okanogan County Department of Public Works for the following surplus items:
One Lot (Approx. 97 each) of used 7 foot cutting edges (grader blades)
This Lot of surplus material will be awarded to the highest bidder. The minimum bid amount has been set at the scrap salvage value of $373.45. There is no guarantee on the exact quantity of blades in this Lot.
Mailed or hand delivered bids will be accepted until Wednesday, April 23, 2014 @ 2:00 pm at which time the bids will be opened and read. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.
Sealed envelopes must be clearly marked “Sealed Bid for Grader Blades” and shall be delivered to the following location:
Okanogan County Department of Public Works
1234-A 2nd Avenue South
Okanogan Washington 98840
Method of payment: Payment shall be made out to Okanogan County and will be in the form of cashier’s check or personal check only. Payment must be included in the sealed envelope. If the highest bid is in the form of personal check, materials will be released upon funds clearing the account.
Okanogan County Department of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid which in its estimation best serves the interest of Okanogan County.
The Lot of blades shall be made available for pick-up by the successful bidder at the Omak County shop located at 126 Sand Flat Road, Omak, WA. Arrangements for pick-up will be made in advance by calling 509-422-7300 or by stopping by the Public Works Office.
