Lion tennis roars

WINTHROP – The Liberty Bell boys remain unbeaten this year after taking out Oroville, 5-0, in a league match Tuesday.

The Hornets girls won 5-0 over the Mountain Lions.

Oroville is at Wilson Creek and Entiat at Liberty Bell on Tuesday.

OMAK – Omak and Tonasket tennis teams split Tuesday, with the Pioneer boys prevailing 5-0 while the Tigers won the girls side 3-2.

Oroville golfers medal

BANKS LAKE – Oroville golf picked up team wins and both medalist titles against Lake Roosevelt and Tonasket on Wednesday.

Oroville heads to Moses Lake on Monday to take on CBSS at Moses Pointe.

Lake Roosevelt takes on Manson on Thursday at Lake Chelan Golf Course.

OKANOGAN – Omak and Okanogan got an opportunity to compete against each other Tuesday on their home course, Okanogan Valley Golf Club.

When the wind died down and the dust settled on the traps, Omak’s boys were the lone bunch to record a team score (391).

Omak’s Brandon Abrahamson (94) and Gaby Reyes (68 in 9) were medalists.
