Miller K’s 23 in doubleheader

Rain washes out several games

Markie Miller notched a pair of victories over Cashmere, 6-2 and a 2-0 no hitter, in Caribou Trail League softball Wednesday.

“We didn’t hit the ball quite as well as I thought we should, but the defensive effort more than made up for it,” Brewster coach Rick Miller said.

Markie Miller gave up three hits in the first game while striking out 14 and giving up one earned run.

The doubleheader was rescheduled from April 26.

A rained-out April 22 game with Omak tentatively was rescheduled to May 6.
