This week, our shopper takes on a whole new look in Okanogan County.
As part of The Omak-Okanogan County Chronicle’s continued growth strategy, our Bottomline shopper has been renamed Bigfoot Ads.
The name change coincides with our efforts to rebrand our classified advertising section in response to Internet competition from outside the area.
While our shopper sports a new name, it still contains the advertising you are used to seeing (if you don’t subscribe to The Chronicle).
Bigfoot will contain the classified advertising, insert advertising and other promotions you’re used to receiving in the Bottomline.
Why the change, you ask?
As we’ve upgraded our advertising software, we’ve linked into a classified network available throughout the Pacific Northwest, and indeed the nation. Our new system allows you to search classifieds as close or as far away from home as you’d like.
Want to find a specific used car? Our web-based Bigfoot links to multiple newspapers, in case you can’t find it in Okanogan County.
Looking for a vacation rental? Our new advertising system can help you find it.
And if you’re interested in getting your local grocery store flyer ... it’s in there, too, if the grocer wants it to be.
The print version of Bigfoot will be delivered to your home the same way the Bottomline was. If you received it in the mail, Bigfoot will come in the mail. If you get it from a carrier, you’ll get Bigfoot from a carrier. You get the picture ...
We hope you’ll bear with us as we fine tune and redesign our total-market shopper. And by all means, we’d like to hear from you if you have suggestions on how to make it better.
