REPUBLIC An online seminar to discuss social determinates of health in rural communities will take place at noon Aug. 20 in the Republic Reducing Alcohol and Drug use Coalition office.
The seminar will focus on the impacts of social factors and provide strategies for addressing the negative impact of such factors on children, youth and families in rural communities. Additionally, the webinar will discuss mental health needs and the well-being of children, youth and families living in rural communities.
The event is sponsored by the Rural Behavioral Health Initiative, a project of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
