OROVILLE Detectives are looking for a local man accused of a stabbing in town.
Ryan P. Mulligan, 28, is wanted by the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office for attempted first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, residential burglary and third degree theft. Mulligan is considered homeless but has been staying in area since 2013.
Authorities requested a warrant for his arrest in connection with an alleged stabbing in July, Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers.
“At this time, robbery appears to be the motive of the stabbing,” Rogers said.
On July 31, John R. Omer, 58, was stabbed in his sleep at his home, 1 Balmes Road, a sheriff's report said.
Omer was stabbed numerous times, including wounds to his side, chest area and head, the report said
