Osoyoos man in custodoy for allegedly selling firearms

— Brdley Michael Friesen, 37, was arrested July 17 following alligations of selling firearms. Reports show Friesen has previous encounters with the law including an attempted muder with a firemarm in Pentiction in 2003. He was issued lifetime firearms prohibition.

Authorities obtained a search warrant and found multiple weapons in his van and tent, at a campground in Osoyoos.

Friesen is in custody in Surrey, B.C., awaiting trial.
