PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Okanogan County Commissioners on Tuesday, December 23 at 4:00 p.m. in the commissioners hearing room located at 123 5th Avenue North, Room 150, Okanogan.
The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons and persons residing within Fire District #15 including but not limited to areas of Brewster, Methow, and Twisp.
Up to $1 million may be available to the Okanogan County on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons
An outline of the proposed Fire District #15 project will be available for review at the Okanogan County Commissioners Office on December 23, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. Comments may also be submitted in writing to Lalena Johns, Clerk of the Board either at the hearing or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The County Commissioners Hearing Room is handicap accessible.
