Sex with hypnotized woman allegation leads to pharmacy assistant suspension

— Benton County Pharmacy Assistant Kevin Geyer has been suspended on charges of sexual misconduct, state Department of Health officials announced Dec. 23.

According to charges filed against Geyer, he had sexual intercourse with a woman while she was under hypnosis in June.

Geyer is an amateur hypnotist and allegedly placed the woman under hypnosis in his home, court records show. On Sept. 22, he was criminally charged in Benton County Superior Court with one count of indecent liberties, a class B felony.

Geyer can’t practice in Washington until the charges are resolved, state health officials said Tuesday. He has 20 days to respond.
