REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR

ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION STAKING & SURVEY SERVICES

Qualification Statements for Construction Staking and Survey Services will be received by the Okanogan County Department of Public Works office at 1234A Second Avenue South, Okanogan, WA 98840, until 2:00pm, Thursday, February 27, 2014. Questions concerning this RFQ may be directed to the Contracts Administrator at the above address or by phone at 509-422-7319 or by email at wdetillian@co.okanogan.wa.us. This consultant work will involce Federal-Aid projects. The County of Okanogan in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000-4 and title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entrusted into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, in consideration of an award. This is a solicitation for qualified Consultants to submit their Qualification Statements for Roadway Construction Staking and Survey Services. One or more qualified consultants may be selected for the following projects.

-OCRP 1920-04 Twin Lakes Road, SR20 to Patterson Lake Road

-OCRP 2045-03 Loup Loup Bridge Replacement Project

Work for these projects is estimated to take place between April 1, 2014 and Dec. 31, 2014

Scope of work may include:

-Slope Staking

-Drainage Staking

Roadway Elevation Hubs

-Structure Staking

-Right of Way Staking

-Other construction related staking and surveying

Respondents please submit one (2) paper copies or emailed copy of your SOQ not to exceed 10 pages each.

Each Firm’s Qualifications Statement will be evaluated and scored on the following categories:

Firm’s experience in similar projects

Staff experience in similar projects

Availability

Accessibility

Experience with Okanogan County Public Works Projects

Experience with WSDOT Standard Specifications

Experience with FHWA projects

Examples of similar work

References
