The Colville Tribes Land Use Review Board will be holding a public hearing to make a ruling on the following Land Use Development application for a conditional use:
Beverlie Marchand has submitted a land use and development application to add a fueling station onto her existing commercial lot that currently serves as Chief Joseph Smoke Shop. The proposal consists of two above ground storage tanks and an island pump station with three double pumps (two gas and one diesel) including upgrading the access to a commercial grade access. The site is situated on trust property commonly known as 50-B Cassimer Bar Access Road, Brewster, WA; within Tribal Tract 101-3238-A Township 30 North, Range 25 East. Section 16 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.
Albert Andrews Redstar representing the Chief Joseph Long House Redevelopment has submitted a land use and development permit application to reconstruct the burned down Chief Joseph (Nez Perce) Long House with an approximately 11,000 sq. foot facility. The facility will be situated in the same general area as the old long house on trust property within Tribal Tract 101-T120B Township 31 North, Range 30 East, Section 25 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.
Larry Burley has submitted a land use and development application for a change of use at 602 Omak Avenue (next to Highway 97 overpass in East Omak) to an auto rebuilding and upholstery shop. The existing commercial facility is within Township 34 North, Range 26 East, Section 35 on fee property within an Okanogan County Assessor parcel number 2001000300 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.
Albert Roberts and Carey Hunter has submitted a land use and development application for a variance to construct two agricultural use pole structures on their property commonly known as 288 Haley Creek near Omak, WA. One structure will be 20’x200’ (4000 square feet) and the other will be 35’ x 68’ (2380 square feet) within property zoned by the Colville Tribes as Forest designation within the Game Management designation. The property is within Township 33 North, Range 28 East, Section 20 within Okanogan County Parcel #3328200037 and is within the boundaries of the Colville Indian Reservation.
A public hearing for the above mentioned Land Use Development Permit Application will be conducted on Thursday February 27, 2014 at the Colville Tribal Credit conference room on the Colville Indian Agency Campus starting at 9:30 a.m. Written comments will be accepted until February 28, 2014 at 4 p.m. or comments can be made verbally at the public hearing.
