— Several volleyball teams slugged it out Saturday at Omak High School to raise money for Parker's Place.

The competition was the culmination of a Pioneer senior Baelie Meese’s senior project.

An adult team ton the Parker’s Place volleyball tournament, she said.

Pictured are the many teams and volunteers that made the tournament possible.

Parker's Place is a camp for families who have lost a child to chronic illness or tragedy.

The camp is named for Parker Brown, an Omak youth who died from cancer in 2009. He was the son of John and Sarah Brown.
