REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

To perform work at two homes on the Colville Indian Reservation in Nespelem and Inchelium.

Description:

1. One (1) Single Family Home #003, located at the Nespelem Community Site subdivision site, approximately 1 mile North of Omak, WA.

2. One (1) Single Family Home #422, located at the Twin Lakes Homes Sub-division, approximately 11 miles west of Inchelium, WA.

3. Furnish Labor and Materials to:

a. Complete wall board and ceiling repair, painting, flooring installation, doors, and trim in two units #003 and #422.

b. Remove existing vinyl siding, trim, and windows and install new windows, new window wraps, new siding, and paint siding and existing soffits and fascia at two units, #003 and #422.

All written proposals must be delivered to the Colville Indian Housing Authority, Capital Improvements Department, Nespelem, Washington no later than 3:00 pm, JANUARY 16, 2014. Proposals may be faxed, emailed, or mailed. A pre-proposal meeting will be held at #003 Nespelem Community Site on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Please call Vince at 634-2198 by 1/6/14, 3:00 PM if planning to attend the meeting.

Indian Preference will be given in the award of contracts “to the greatest extent feasible” as determined in sec 7(b) of the Indian Self Determination and Education Act (25 U.S.C. 450 e(b). Davis Bacon Wage rates will apply to this project.
