Breaking News: Omak student arrested after suspected arson

Flores pleads guilty in assault

— An Omak woman pleaded guilty Jan. 8 in Okanogan County Superior Court to second-degree assault and first-degree robbery.

Faith Ann Flores, 28, Omak, was sentenced to 25 months in prison. She committed the crimes May 16.

She was arrested May 17 and charged May 23 in an incident in which Jeff Weitman, 33, was injured.

He was treated at Mid-Valley Hospital for a stab wound to the thigh after an argument May 16 at a rental home on North Birch Street.

A deadly weapon enhancement was dismissed.

Flores is not to be released to the Department of Corrections without further court order because she is a witness in other cases.
