Huner charged

Ashley Caroline Huner, 25, of Okanogan, was charged May 28 with second-degree burglary and forgery, which allegedly occurred May 4.

Possession alleged

Tyler Lee Shelton, 23, of Okanogan, was charged May 28 with possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, which allegedly occurred Feb. 16.

Hershaw charged

Daniel Allen Hershaw, 48, of Omak, was charged May 7 with second-degree trafficking in stolen property and third-degree theft.

Hershaw allegedly committed the trafficking Feb. 15 and the theft March 21.

A criminal summons was issued May 16 for an appearance ordered for June 2.

Vehicle theft alleged

Barry J. Collins, 29, of Tonasket, was charged May 1 with second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission and first-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license, which allegedly occurred Feb. 1.

A criminal summons was issued May 16 with a court date of June 2.

Abram charged

Romello Dshawn Abram, 19, was charged May 22 with custodial assault-adult corrections institution or local detention facility and two counts of fourth-degree assault, which allegedly occurred May 13 in the county jail.

Harassment alleged

Mihaly Racz, 35, of Oroville, was charged May 22 with three counts of harassment-threats to kill and first-degree criminal trespass, which allegedly occurred May 20.

Arias charged

Shelby Laura Arias, 33, of Omak, was charged May 22 with second-degree malicious mischief, which allegedly occurred May 20.

Harassment, assault alleged

Saul Morales Sandoval, 24, was charged May 23 with malicious harassment-physical injury to the victim and fourth-degree assault.

Sandoval, who also is known as Ramon Medina Barrios, allegedly committed the crimes May 13.

Sanchez charged

Jose Luis Sanchez, 24, was charged May 23 with prison riot, custodial assault-adult corrections institution or local detention facility, harassment-threaten a specific person and fourth-degree assault, which allegedly occurred May 13 in the county jail.

Assault alleged

Russell Ellis Gardner, 21, of Tonasket, was charged May 23 with second-degree assault-deadly weapon, which allegedly occurred May 21.

Vega charged

Jose Jesus Vega, 18, of Tonasket, was charged May 23 with harassment-threats to kill, which allegedly occurred May 21.

Johnson sentenced

Joseph Gerald Johnson, 31, of Grand Coulee, pleaded guilty May 23 to first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Johnson, who committed the crime Feb. 1, was sentenced to 15 days.

James Gordon and Raymond Cockle filed a land-use petition May 14 challenging an Okanogan County commissioners’ decision.

The commissioners denied an application for change from designated forest to open space timber.

Hernandez-Cruz sentenced

Miguel Angel Hernandez-Cruz, 17, of Brewster, pleaded guilty May 16 to second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission.

Hernandez-Cruz, who committed the crime April 12, was sentenced to 15-36 weeks in a state institution, 45 hours of community restitution and 12 months of community supervision once released.

Carpenter pleads guilty

Christian Lee Alan Carpenter, 15, of Wenatchee, was charged May 14 with custodial assault-juvenile facilities.

Carpenter, who committed the crime May 5, was sentenced to 20 days and 12 months of community supervision.

In a second charging, Carpenter pleaded guilty May 14 to minor possessing or consuming alcohol.

Carpenter, who committed the crime April 9, was sentenced to 2 days and 6 months of community supervision.

Axtell sentenced

Jay James Axtell, 17, of Omak, pleaded guilty April 16 to second-degree rape of a child.

Axtell, who committed the crime March 1, was sentenced to 156 weeks in a state institution and given credit for 42 days served.

Aparicio pleads guilty

Luis Jesus Aparicio, 15, of Brewster, pleaded guilty April 9 to second-degree burglary, five counts of third-degree malicious mischief, three counts of second-degree vehicle prowling and third-degree theft.

Another charge was dismissed.

Aparicio, who committed the crimes May 12, 2013, was sentenced to 30 days and 12 month of community supervision.

Chacon sentenced

Brian Moreno Chacon, 17, of Omak, pleaded guilty April 2 to possession of marijuana by a person under age 21.

Chacon, who committed the crime March 23, was sentenced to 11 days.

George pleads guilty

Moses Robert George, 15, of Omak, pleaded guilty April 2 to third-degree possession of stolen property.

George, who committed the crimes March 10, was sentenced to 13 days and 6 months of community supervision.

Gilge sentences

Troy Ryan Gilge, 17, of Oroville, pleaded guilty May 14 to attempted custodial assault-juvenile facilities.

Gilge, who committed the crime April 30, was sentenced to 12 days and 3 months of community supervision.

In a second charging, Gilge pleaded guilty May 14 to third-degree malicious mischief-domestic violence.

Gilge, who committed the crime April 29, was sentenced to 3 days and 3 months of community supervision.

Ramirez sentenced for theft

Brandon Ramirez, 16, of Brewster, pleaded guilty May 28 to third-degree theft.

Ramirez, who committed the crime Dec. 5, 2013, was sentenced to 16 hours of community service and 6 months of community supervision.

Samuels sentenced

Nicole Renee Samuels, 16, of Nespelem, pleaded guilty May 28 to third-degree theft and unlawful possession of a legend drug.

Samuels, who committed the theft Nov. 20, 2013, and possessed the drug Dec. 30, 2013, was sentenced to 6 days and 6 months of community supervision.

St. Peter Jr. takes vehicle

James David St. Peter Jr., 15, of Omak, pleaded guilty May 28 to second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission and third-degree theft.

St. Peter, who committed the crimes Dec. 14, 2013, was sentenced to 14 days, 30 hours of community service to be converted to 4 days in detention and credit for 4 days served and 12 months of community supervision.
