OMAK A local woman was injured Friday after her vehicle overturned about two miles north of town along U.S. Highway 97.
Sandra J. Cohen, 61, was transported to Mid Valley Hospital for treatment of crash-related injuries at about 2:15 p.m.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Cohen was southbound on the highway when her 1979 Dodge van spun out and overturned, coming to rest on its roof in the southbound ditch.
Troopers at the scene said the cause of the crash was a blown tire, which was later confirmed in the crash report.
Cohen was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, the State Patrol said. Neither drugs nor alcohol were factors.
Her vehicle was towed from the scene by Pete’s Towing.
