REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Furnish labor, materials, and equipment to perform Repair work at one home on the Colville
Indian Reservation near Nespelem.
Description:
subdivision site, approximately 1 mile North of Nespelem, WA.
a. Complete wallboard repair, painting, flooring installation, doors, and trim
in one unit: #1015.
b. Furnish and install new cabinets, pantry, countertops, sinks, faucets, and
associated plumbing in one unit: #1015.
c. Furnish and install new shower tub assemblies in one unit: #1015.
d. Furnish and install new exhaust fan assemblies in one unit: #1015.
e. Furnish and install new anchor bolts in one unit: #1015.
f. Furnish and install new insulation as outlined in scope at one unit: #1015
g. Furnish and install new vapor barrier at one unit: #1015
h. Furnish and install new garage door assembly at one unit: #1015
The Colville Indian Housing Authority is requesting Proposals to furnish labor and material for
the above items as contained in the attached scope ofwork. The scope ofwork is availableby
calling 634-2160 or 634-2175 or e-mailing vince.mcdonald(S)colvilletribes.com or
missv.pakootas@colvilletribes.com.
All work and materials will be as shown in the Scope of Work and Provisions to the Contract.
All written proposals must be delivered to the Colville Indian Housing Authority, Capital
Improvements Department, Nespelem, Washington NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM, May 16,
May 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Please call 634-2160 by 5/12/14 at 3:00 PM if planning to
attend the meeting.
Faxed copies of proposals are acceptable. Please send all fax replies to (509) 634-2335. Any
proposals received after the above time will not be considered and will be returned to the
proposer.
All TERO and TOSHA regulations shall be adhered to in the performance ofthis contract work.
Indian preference will be given in the award of contracts “to the greatest extent feasible” as
determined in sec 7(b) of the Indian Self Detennination and Education Act (25 U.S.C. 450e (b).
Davis Bacon Wage rates will apply to this project.
