HYAK Interstate 90 drivers heading over Snoqualmie Pass to Seattle will experience minor delays due to single-lane closures, rolling slowdowns and rock-blasting closures three days next week.
The state Department of Transportation and contractor crews will close I-90 at 7:30 p.m. for about an hour each night Monday and Wednesday, Transportation officials said.
Due to the area crews will be blasting Tuesday, drivers may experience a closure lasting longer than an hour, officials said. During rock-blasting closures, eastbound drivers will be stopped at Gold Creek (Milepost 56) and westbound drivers will be stopped at Price Creek (Milepost 61).
Drivers will also experience minor delays during the day due to intermittent rolling slowdowns and night-time single-lane closures Saturday and Monday through Wednesday along Keechelus Lake, officials said.
Lane and shoulder closures could cause minor delays for motorists between North Bend (Milepost 36) and Price Creek (Milepost 63) during the day Monday and Tuesday, officials said.
