Field cards an 81

— Tonasket’s Cayden Field came within a stroke of tying for medalist honors during the Caribou Trail League golf champion-ship Tuesday.

Field, who competed with the class 2B Oroville team this year before returning to the 1A playoffs, finished at 81, right behind Chelan medalist Parker Nolen at 80.

Chelan boys finished first at 352, followed by Omak (362), Cascade (372) and Quincy (409).

Bi-district will involve 40 boys and 22 girls from the combined CTL and Northeast A League vying for 20 boys’ and 11 girls’ berths to state.
