United Powwow moves to Paschal Sherman



— This Saturday’s United Powwow has been moved to Paschal Sherman Indian School, 169 Omak Lake Road.

Events kick off at 1 p.m. with grand entry, followed by a dinner at 5 p.m. Another grand entry is planned at 7 p.m.

The 27th annual event was previously scheduled at Omak Longhouse, but changed locations due to unforeseen circumstances.

David BrownEagle will serve as emcee; Walter Williams will be arena director.

The event is hosted by the Colville Confederated Tribes, Omak School District Salish Language Class and Wenatchee Valley College-Omak’s Red Road Association.
