Pateros girls wrap up regular season tonight

— The Pateros girls basketball team, tied for the league lead at 5-1 with Moses Lake Christian Academy, will take a No. 2 seed into district later this month.

Coach John Ellis said an earlier number draw led to MLCA getting the No. 1 seed if the teams tied for the league championship.

“We will play Entiat in first round (3 p.m. Feb. 19),” Ellis said of the single-elimination district tournament Feb. 19 and 21 at Ephrata High School, 333 Fourth Ave. NW.

Pateros (12-2, 5-1) closed out the season at third-place Entiat (12-6, 4-3) on Tuesday.
