CITY OF OMAK NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS FOR
Engh Road-SR215/US 97 Intersection Improvements
The City of Omak solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil Design. Consultants will be considered for the following project. Project Description
The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing preliminary engineering and PS&E for
Engh Road-SR215/US 97 Intersection Improvements. The proposed improvements consist of widening Engh Road from Omache Drive to 250 feet west of River Road to allow for additional westbound right turn/through lane, extend the westbound through lane through the intersection and terminate as a right turn lane to Omache Drive, turn pocket shifting, and add ADA-compliant pedestrian facilities on the north side of Engh Road. Construction of the project is anticipated in 2017.
Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone and fax numbers; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager; and Number of employees in each firm proposed to project.
Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria:
1) Key personnel; 2) Firm experience with PS and E; 3) Firm experience with environmental planning and permitting process; 4) Ability to meet schedule; 5) Approach to project; 6) Familiarity with relevant codes and standards; 7) Past performance/references.
