AENEAS VALLEY Fire crews contained a small brush at about a tenth-of-an-acre last night off Lyman Lake Road.
“It was just a small lightning fire,” U.S. Forest Service spokeswoman Jill Vugteveen said Wednesday morning. “It’s contained; it was off Lyman Lake Road on a Forest Service road.”
While that blaze is out, crews continue to battle a wildfire burning in the Pasayten Wilderness Area, about 15 miles northwest of Loomis.
It is over 1,300 acres and continues to burn.
