Waterville High School football players attend a potato feed fundraiser Thursday for Ramon Angel of Pateros, who was injured Sept. 29 in a football game against the Shockers.

Angel suffered a head injury and collapsed during a game at Waterville on Sept. 25.

He was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and underwent surgery.

Waterville players attended the fundraiser.

Okanogan High School is raising funds to assist Angel’s mother, so she can remain with her son at the hospital.

A Go Fund Me account has been set up, too, at https://www.gofundme.com/f5536jk8
