OKANOGAN — The restaurant in a longtime downtown building is up and running again after a hiatus of more than a year.

New owner Diana Oestreich opened the Cariboo Inn restaurant last month. The eatery, at 223 Queen St., closed in June 2014.

“I want to be here many, many years from now,” said Oestreich, 50.
