Colville tribal chairman, musician Jim Boyd dies

INCHELIUM — Colville Business Council chairman, songwriter, producer and musical icon Jim Boyd died last Tuesday, June 21.

A rosary was Monday at the Inchelium Community Center. A funeral followed yesterday at Round Lake.

He was buried at Hall Creek Cemetery.

Boyd, 60, was a member of the Arrow Lakes tribe, which is one of the 12 tribes of the Colville Confederated Tribes.
