— Choice Auto Group has new co-owners and an expanded shop area offering repairs and detailing.

Nick Martin and Nate Brown recently became part owners with Mike Kaiser. Five new staff members have been added, bringing the total to 15 to the used vehicle dealership at 625 Okoma Drive.

Kaiser is starting a second Choice Auto Group location in Payson, Ariz., so the time was right for Martin and Brown to buy in, said Brown.

Pat Howell, who previously did vehicle servicing in Wenatchee for many years, has joined Choice as shop manager. He has more than 30 years in the business, Brown said.

Besides the change of ownership, the business also has opened its service shop to the public. Along with repairs by ASC-certified mechanics, it also offers a detail bay. A customer waiting area will be added soon.

“We’re partnering with Washington Tractor for NAPA parts,” Brown said.

He said he wants people to know that Choice Auto Group’s service shop is in the brown and gray building on the west side of Okoma Drive, south of The Chronicle, while Omak Auto Plaza is in the blue building at 607 Okoma Drive, north of The Chronicle.

Omak Auto Plaza, which also offers used vehicles and service, previously was known as Choice Automotive and RV.

A grand opening for Choice Auto Group’s service shop is planned in May.
