Preston Demmitt, 8, Omak, took first place in the U8 handicap division at the Washington State USBC Future Pepsi Youth Championship on May 19-20 at Pacific Lanes in Tacoma.

Demmitt bowled games of 143, 133 and 128 to finish at 392 in the handicap division, four pins ahead of second place at the state tournament...
