After a couple attempts to try smoker-style cooking in my indirect propane grill and a barrel drum camp cooker, I bit the bullet and picked up a real deal smoker.

Last week, while working on a feature story, I was lucky enough to be in Brewster when the Gebbers Cattle outlet store was open. I’d heard about the store, but never seemed to be in town during business hours (they are only open Wednesday and Fridays from 2-6 p.m.)
