CITY OF OKANOGAN
PREFABRICATED
BOOSTER PUMP
STATION MASTER METER
AND SERVICE METERS
ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE:
$275,000-$295,000
Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at
the City of Okanogan, 120
Third Avenue North, PO Box
752, Okanogan, Washington
98840, up to 2:00 p.m., local
time on May 14, 2008, for
furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment,
tools and guarantees thereof
to install a Prefabricated
Booster Pump Station, a
Master Meter and Service
Meters.
The work, in general, will
consist of the installation of
a prefabricated Booster
Pump Station with associated piping, electrical and
telemetry connections, the
installation of a 4-inch master meter and manhole, the
installation of 52 new 1-inch
service meters and manholes and the rechlorination
of approximately 1700 linear
feet of existing 8-inch PVC
pipe.
The work shall be substantially complete within 110
working days after the commencement date stated in
the Notice to Proceed and final completion by November
14, 2008. All bidding and
construction is to be performed in compliance with
the Contract Provisions and
Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued
thereto that are on file at the
office of the City Clerk, City
of Okanogan, Washington.
The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud
shortly after the time and
date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only
on the form provided with
the Contract Provisions. All
Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check,
cashiers check, money order, or bid bond payable to
the "City of Okanogan" and
in an amount of not less
than five percent (5%) of the
total amount bid.
Contract Provisions and
Contract Plans may be examined at the office of the
City of Okanogan, local plan
centers in the project area,
or the office of the Project
Engineer, Gray & Osborne,
Inc., (Seattle at 701 Dexter
Avenue North, Suite 200,
Yakima at 107 South 3rd
Street or Olympia at 2102
Carriage Drive SW, Bldg. I,
Suite 102). Copies of the
Contract Provisions and
Contract PLans may be purchased only at the Yakima
office of the Project Engineer, Gray & Osborne, Inc., 107 South Third Street,
Yakima, WA 98901, for a
non-refundable price of
$75.00, including sales tax
and shipping. Payment must
be made at the time the
Contract Provisions and
Contract Plans are requested. A list of planholders will
be made available, by request, through the Project
Engineer's office, via the
U.S. mail.

Okanogan expressly reserves the right to reject any
or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to further make
award of the Project to the
lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves
the interest the interests of
the City.

procedure for the vacation of
that portion of a street described as: The east 20 feet
of the north half of the northeast quarter of the northwest
quarter of Section 25, Township 34 North, Range 26
East W.M, Okanogan
County Washington, lying
South of the Southwesterly
right-of-way line of Shumway Road.
