Fund-raiser benefits Republic food bank
Holiday Harmony 2007, the only annual fund-raiser for Ferry County's People's Pantry food bank, will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Presbyterian Church in Republic.
The People's Pantry benefit and raffle will feature various local entertainers. Admission is by donation and raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each, according to Carla Wert, event organizer.
Bernie Odegard will present his Elvis impersonation, and other entertainers will include the Republic High School chorus, Community Circle Trio, Patty Baldwin, Marilyn Ellingson, Emily Rice, Connie Fletcher and Friends, Richard Eich and more.
Holiday Harmony is an annual event meant to bring cheer to the community, say organizers. All proceeds from the event go to support the People's Pantry.
