McKenna, Rossi to speak at Okanogan County Lincoln Day dinner
The Okanogan County Republican Party will hold its annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Friday, Feb. 1 at Sun Valley Restaurant, Okanogan.
Keynote speaker will be State Attorney General Rob McKenna, who will discuss issues his office is dealing with in 2008.
Special guest speaker will be Dino Rossi, who challenged Gov. Christine Gregoire in 2004 and is working on another run for the governor's mansion in 2008.
Allan J. Martin, who is running for the open state treasurer seat for the Republican Party, is also scheduled to speak at the dinner. Martin served as county treasurer in Chelan County and is currently assistant state Treasurer. He has received the endorsement of current state treasurer, Michael Murphy, who is a Democrat.
Organizers say the public is welcome to attend the dinner. Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30.
Tickets are available through Teri Mitschelen, 422-3944, or Jon Wyss, 733-0513.
