Paying for college is topic of workshop in Okanogan
     “Funding Your Child’s College Education, a workshop for parents, is planned for 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the Okanogan High School cafetorium.
     The event is sponsored by the school’s GEAR UP program.
     Presentations will be made by Okanogan County Community Action, Wells Fargo Bank, Washington state GET program, Wenatchee Valley College financial aid department and a panel that will include parents with students in college.
     Door prizes will be offered. Translators will be available; child care is available upon request, say organizers.
