North Omak Elementary School kindergarten and preschool registrations are scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 28-29.
Parents registering students for kindergarten need to bring a copy of the child's birth certificate and immunization records, say school officials.
The child, who must be 5 by Aug. 31, 2008, does not need to accompany the parent. No appointments are necessary, according to an announcement from North.

Preschool registration includes a free screening for children up to age 5 and living in the Omak area. A goal of the roundup is to help parents locate an appropriate preschool for the child and to identify any special needs the child may have, say school officials.
Screening takes about 30 minutes. Appointments are preferred but are not mandatory, say school officials.
Parents are asked to bring a copy of the child's birth certificate and immunization records.
Screenings also are available for students ages 6-21.
