Children of the Revolution will bring world music to the Omak Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Monday, May 5, in the Omak Performing Arts Center.
Tickets to see the Seattle-based acoustic trio cost $5 for the general public. Wenatchee Valley College students with a current student ID card will be admitted free.
Children of the Revolution was formed in 1998 and represents musicians from all over the world, according to a WVC announcement.
The group combines rock, flamenco, Latin, Greek, Turkish, salsa, R&B, Middle Eastern and hip-hop influences to create world rock, according to the announcement.
The band has released five CDs - “Children of the Revolution,” “Chapter One,” “Keep Holding On,” “Liberation” and “Life, Love and Guantanamo Bay.”
