Omak police search for stolen vehicles after break-in at Choice Auto
Brazen burglars broke into Choice Auto the night of May 12-13, stole keys to six vehicles and then stole three vehicles from the lot in Omak, according to the Omak Police.
Omak Police notified manager Mike Kaiser of the burglary at 1 a.m. May 13.
He said he remained on the premises until 5 a.m. helping police, who took fingerprints and reviewed surveillance video that showed two young males in sweatshirts.
Of the three vehicles, a 2000 Chevy pickup was recovered near the Magi apple warehouse. Kaiser said it appeared to have been used for some four-wheeling.
Still missing as of mid-morning May 13 was a 2004 gold Trailblazer and a 1999 silver GMC Denali.
"I've got two cars missing in action," said a tired Kaiser Tuesday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Omak Police, 826-0383, or Kaiser at Choice Auto, 826-3000.
