Saturday's parade drew 90 entries, about average, to cruise down Main Street. Entrants were encouraged to follow the theme, coinciding with the centennial, of "Honoring our past, celebrating our future."
The parade began with American and Canadian legions presenting the colors. Sabrina Howe sang the Canadian anthem and Autumn Martin sang the American anthem, the announcer said.

The bass tournament at Deep Bay Park ended with the weigh-in at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Big catches of the day also earned a prize. Cliff Applebee and Jim Barker won the largemouth category, and Claude Roberts and Fred Bender won the smallmouth category, said Hawkins.
From 8 a.m. to the end of the last game at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, 53 teams battled on the basketball court for the three-on-three championships, according to organizer Jon Neal.
