E-mail threat suspect arrested in Wenatchee
A search by Okanogan County Sheriff's Office for a 34-year-old Wenatchee woman led to her arrest June 18 in Wenatchee.
Jodi L. Raschka was arrested for allegedly sending threatening emails to Okanogan County District Court. She was booked into the county jail for felony harassment, cyberstalking and intimidating a judge.
Sheriff Frank Rogers said Raschka, posing as someone else, sent an email April 11 to the district court clerk's office threatening to kill judges and law enforcement.
The clerk's office notified the sheriff's office, where the email was evaluated and was considered a valid threat, said Rogers.
Between April 11 and April 14 the clerk's office received three emails allegedly sent by Raschka posing as someone else, with all three emails threatening in nature.
Rogers said the emails appeared to have been sent from public access computers in the Wenatchee area.
Raschka allegedly admitted after her arrest that she sent the emails because she was mad at her ex-boyfriend.
