Three people were injured when their car left Highway 17 shortly before noon June 27 about 10 miles east of Bridgeport.
Alejandro Valdovinos, 37, was northbound when an unknown southbound vehicle attempted to pass another vehicle, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Valdovinos’ vehicle skidded on gravel and the vehicle came to rest on its top in a ditch, according to the accident report, which gave a time of 11:55 a.m. for the accident.
Valdovinos suffered a jaw injury. He was transported by ambulance to Okanogan-Douglas District Hospital, Brewster
A passenger, Lamberto Valdovinos, 18, Bridgeport, suffered a hand injury. He initially was transported by ambulance to the Brewster hospital, then was airlifted to Central Washington Hospital, Wenatchee, according to the patrol report.
Another passenger, Jesus Arrellano, 17, Bridgeport, suffered internal injuries, the patrol reported. He was airlifted directly to Central Washington Hospital.
The vehicle was destroyed.
All three men were using restraints.
